Gift Inspiration for Mothers Day
If you haven’t found the perfect gift for Mother’s Day yet, we have some wonderful inspirations for you! First we look at Sweet Scents, because who doesn’t love something which smells amazing! Then we have some Pretty Pampering treats – my favourite!
Candles are always a nice gift to receive and I always think they are nice pick-me-up or can help you to relax. The beautiful collection by Sara Miller London is made using soy wax so it’s a healthy little luxury too! This scent is Jasmine, Lemongrass and Ginger. It smells blissful! Perfect for moments of ‘me time’.
The Botanical Essences’ by Liz Earle are delicious and can be layered on top of each other to create something really different. No. 20 is the newest in the collection and boasts being over 87% derived from natural ingredients. I loved that this was described as making every day a celebration with this sparkling rose garden in a bottle – with Damask Rose being the key essence alongside notes of Mandarin, Bergamot, Indian Jasmine, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Patchouli! It’s an uplifting happy fragrance and being an eau de Parfum it is long lasting too!
The Scentered Love Balm is a handy little balm to take everywhere with you and they have plenty of different scents for different occasions. I have the Escape balm and the Love balm is my favourite! The ethos is to change your mood with scent and the Love Balm is said to be comforting and calming to restore the heart and inner peace – many Mothers could perhaps use that! It’s all natural and has a mix of Rose, Patchouli and Cederwood – it’s like a warm hug!
The Tata Harper Lip + Cheek Tint is such a lovely piece of makeup and the nicest blusher I have ever used! It’s super easy to apply as you can just pat it on and build it up. The shade Very Nice is a lovely matte nude-pink tone but catches the light ever so beautifully on the top of the cheekbones for a really natural, almost dewy look. It’s perfect for in your handbag and great to use even on days where you don’t really want to wear makeup but need a tiny hint of colour on your cheeks.
RMS Beauty is a much raved about brand and they have so many lovely products to choose from! I have used the “Un” Cover-up which is a concealer that can also be used as a foundation. Lots of people have said that using this product has helped their skin to improve because of it’s coconut oil content and being an organic product filled only with goodness! Makeup which does your skin good whilst also looking great – yes please!
Lollia is famous for pretty packaging and beautiful scents, and their handcreme is such a pretty little pampering product!
Emma Hardie has so much hype around it and I was gifted a small pot of the Moringa Cleansing Balm and Christmas and became obsessed with this product! It smells amazing and is so gentle and nourishing on the skin. Washing your face becomes such feel good moment in your day and my skin absolutely loved it! When I ran out I noticed such a difference and got a lovely kit which was such good value from Marks and Spencer. It included the Brilliance Facial Oil – which is absolutely that! Also the Radiance Facial Mask, again such a fabulous pampering product!
