Smokey Eye Tutorial using MAC Lancome Chanel

BEAUTY: IRRESISTABLE SMOKEY EYE TUTORIAL

Much like fashion, makeup trends come and go. But one that always sticks around – and looks good on anyone – is the classic smokey eye. Whether it’s for a night out, a celebration or simply because it’s the weekend, a smokey eye can update any look, taking you from day to night with minimal effort.

Dramatic makeup can be daunting though, especially if you’re not used to applying it all the time. But, surprisingly, it’s actually not as hard as it looks. If you want to give it a go or try something new with your makeup routine then take a look at my top tips for perfecting a smokey eye below.

In this tutorial the skin is already prepped and foundation applied.  Try my Dewy Skin Tutorial to get the look. Dust a translucent finishing powder all over the lid, to prevent the eyeshadow creasing throughout the evening, then apply black eyeshadow across the lid.

Apply MAC Retrospeck eyeshadow over the black line and blend together. Using Lancome black eyeliner, sweep a line on the bottom line of the eye. With a sponge and/or brush, blend the line to create your desired effect

Apply black liquid eyeliner to the top of the eye and sweep two coats of Chanel Volume mascara, top and bottom of eye. For extra va-va voom add single lashes to the outside corners
