RIBBLE RETREAT

If you’re thinking of planning a staycation this year rather then jet setting, or just looking for a romantic retreat then we’re on a mission to show you some of the undiscovered, hidden gems nestled in the English countryside.

The Ribble Valley, a beautiful spot hidden in the forest in Lancashire, is the perfect place for you to escape the frantic pace of every day life and lose yourself in the great outdoors.  After a short two hour train journey from London, you are transported into the lush countryside with many things to do from country walks, cycling, golf, fishing and many more.  However, if you prefer life at a slower pace, you can enjoy picnics on the banks of the River Ribble, wonder around the market towns and castles or just relax in the many local pubs by the fireplace whilst enjoying some of the local dishes.

As well as beautiful scenery you will be spoilt with choice when it comes to accommodation.  There is a wonderful selection of places to choose, from the cosy, countryside vibe of the Shireburn Arms to the grandeur of Eaves Hall, the family-run Gibbon Bridge Hotel to historic Browsholme Hall.

And if you’re planning a wedding, all of these made wonderfully unique venues! Check out www.ribblevalleyweddingheaven.com to see all these venues and more!
