7 ceremony backdrops that wow!

It’s pretty much guaranteed I’ll shed a tear every time I watch a couple exchange vows, it’s the most important part of the day.  And whilst all eyes are on the bride & groom, as the first part of the day your guests will experience it’s a great chance to add a little ‘wow’.  So I’ve found my favourite 7 ceremony backdrop ideas to add a little pretty, whatever your venue and style.

1. FLORAL

A whimsical floral wreath perfectly frames the bride & groom

2. WALLPAPER

Add a pretty pattern to a blank canvas venue with a wallpaper backdrop, this rough-luxe ripped version with added real flowers is so pretty!

3. COLOUR

Fill tall ceilings with an array of rainbow colours. Paper streamers swagged across this warehouse venue make an amazing statement.

4. BOTANICAL

Bring the outside in with a fabulous wild vine arch.

5. INDUSTRIAL

Add interest and texture to a neutral wedding palette with this elegant draped fabric and ribbon backdrop

6. FESTOON

Lighting is always a winner, festoon bulbs add an industrial edge to any venue but look particularly fabulous in a warehouse

7. FABRIC

For an eco-chic wedding, ripped fabric streamers made from old remnants are a gorgeous way to add texture and pattern

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
