AN ANTIQUE AFFAIR
This is what it’s all about. A boy and girl in love, an utterly breathtaking venue and details to die for. There is just so much to love about Nicole and Terrance’s antique garden wedding, from the incredible florals by Anli Wahl (a true artist) to the darling dessert table, not forgetting the brides stunning statement floral crown. And there is so much love ooozing from the beautiful images from Abby Anderson Photography.
I met Terence when I moved in next door to him when I was 20 years old. It was most definitely love at first sight. We played pool on our first date, I LOVED the way he played pool, and knew I would be crazy about this man! It’s the best feeling to be married to your best friend!
We wanted our wedding to be relaxed, we didn’t want it to be stiff and formal. We wanted our friends and family to just relax and enjoy themselves under the trees with a glass of Champagne in hand and family all around.
Our venue was special to us because it was exactly how we pictured our wedding to be. What appealed to us most was the ambience – beautiful canopy of trees overhead, tranquillity of the country-side and the array of beautiful colours in the luscious gardens. With our wedding being in the daytime, this venue provided all the right elements to make it the great success it was, what better way to enjoy your wedding in the gorgeous spring sunshine!
Our Décor was antique, rustic, classic with roses and greenery everywhere Vases with flowers everywhere, a sweet table with bags to take home. Also a cake and pudding table. Wedding cake was blue and white petit fours. .
Relax, Enjoy, and Take in every moment. Don’t let stress take over; your wedding day is something you want to cherish. Not something you want to stress over and not enjoy. What will be will be!
