behind the scenes ~ june in instagram
Happy Saturday lovelies! Are you an instagram addict? I loooove it, and am always tweeting little peeks of what I’ve been up to, it’s a great way to share a little bit of a day in the life of a blogger! June has been a crazy, exciting, hectic, wonderful month but looking through my feed I picked out some of the more sentimental shots to share with you today. With a super busy job and blog to run, it makes me appreciate those quieter moments so much more!
This month I’ve been ~
Baking Jubilee cupcakes (these are stawberry cheesecake cupcakes from the Hummingbird Bakery cook book. Try them. Devine!) Appreciating what I’ve got, seeing my rings sparkle when I’m busy working makes me smile and be happy! I’ve developed an obsession with pretty pastel nail polish, love this coral colour from MaxFactor. More baking, I love my new Dualit mixer! A great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon with Mr B. Loving the new Fashion exhibition at the V&A Museum, this stunning dress was a particular fave :) On the bus through Clerkenwell I spotted this cute little cafe, must pop back soon!
What’s with the weird weather? Black clouds, blue skies and sunshine. It was raining literally 10 seconds before I snapped this! Meeting the gorgeous girls at Upper Street Shoes, a book of shoe lover secrets? Yes please. Very excited to have been featured in this month’s Wedding Flowers Magazine with some advice on wedding props. I hurt my foot and have to ditch my beautiful heels for a while :( Love my pretty flats though!
Last Saturday I was invited along to a workshop at William Clarke Flowers, the team showed us their beautiful work and then we had to make our own bouquets! I was quite proud of my attempt, but it was nowhere near as pretty as Brian’s professional one! More to come on this soon :)
What did your June look like? Has it been a busy month? I’d really love to hear how you achieve a work / life / wedding planning balance. It can be tricky at times can’t it?!
