DIY #13: Top 5 Easter DIY’s

While many of us are probably planning a little DIY over the Easter weekend, I’m considering some rather more fun projects to get stuck in to over the next few days! So put down that paintbrush, pick up a craft knife and enjoy making some of my favourite Easter DIY’s on the web this week!  These can be used just as decor for your holiday lunches and celebrations, or if you’re planning a spring-time wedding in 2013, why not take some of these as inspiration for an Easter-themed big day?

These fun paper Easter egg crowns from Sweet Paul are guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face as they sit down to an Easter breakfast.  A great little project to do with the kids over the holidays, be creative and make everything from bunnies to Kings!

The girls over at The Pretty Blog have a great eye for style!  This week new DIY contributor Sugarpenguin shared this fab Easter brunch place mat and tag printable set, for you to set up as your very own Easter egg hunt! Follow this link to download the set now!

Trust Martha to come up with one of my fave Easter inspirations!  Hollowed out eggshells make pretty impromptu vases for these adorable mini-flower arrangements.  Adorn your tables and sideboards , or use as individual place settings!

Foodie Michelle over on Pocketful of Dreams sure knows how to make your mouth water with this yummy Springtime menu! Spring greens soup, followed by Spring lamb and a zesty lemony dessert, this menu is full of fresh and fabulous flavours to celebrate the new season.

And finally, one for your spring time wedding, or a beautiful bit of home decor, this stunning lily backdrop would make a fabulous makeshift altar via Ruffled Blog.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
