inspiration board #70: peonies & champagne
Morning lovelies! Did you all have a wonderful weekend? I hope the rain didn’t dampen your wedding celebrations this weekend? Oh the joys of a British summer
Today I’m sharing some inspiration that’s a take on the classic strawberries and champagne combination, peonies and champagne! An elegant neutral palette of taupe, ivory and gold with splashes of vibrant coral and fuchsia pink is a contemporary take on a classic wedding scheme, just with the bolder use of colour really adding some pizazz! A touch of gold and sparkle takes this look from daytime to night. A beautiful, illustrated invitation suite with a hint of pink leads to a light-filled ceremony with taupe and gold details and small touches of colour. Bridesmaids in a taupe, or gold dress with a touch of sparkle add a touch of glamour, working beautifully with a touch of bling on the brides dress (we just love this slim and elegant design from Anouschka G, available from Miss Bush Bridalwear). For the reception decor, colour is provided by coral and fuschia peonies, our love affair with these perfect, blousy blooms continues, adding sweet peas, ranunculus and other bright fuchsia colour blooms to pump up the volume for the later parts of the day.
