Hello lovelies!

Summer brights are hot property at the moment, from red, green and blue to pink, orange and yellow, the high street is full of fabulous colour block dresses!  With lots of you lovely brides planning your summer weddings, and the trend for these bold hues set to continue, today I thought I’d share some of my favourite options for your beautiful bridesmaids!

{J Crew – Taryn £146, Coast – Palmer £145}

Purple is widely tipped to be the accent colour for weddings this year, so why not tie in your bridesmaids with these pretty options.  I love the floral embellishment and timeless shape of Palmer from Coast

{J Crew – Arabelle £191, Sophia £118}

Fresh minty green is a great colour for Spring weddings, this cute and flirty bandeau dress from J Crew would take your maids from aisle to dancefloor in style!

{Coast – Felicia £125, BHLDN – Macaron £142}

Another fabulous colour for spring and summer, a fresh yellow is sure to bring sunshine to your day, regardless of the British weather!  The fresh zingy yellow of Macaron from BHLDN has a sweet and demure look with it’s ruffled neckline and floaty hem, team with killer heels for a more edgy look.

{BHLDN – Vivacity £155, Oasis – Lily £85}

Coral is hot, hot, hot for 2012! Pick the right shade and it can suit everyone from the darkest haired vixens to the sweetest blondes.  This cute Lily dress from Oasis has just the right amount of lace for a pretty bridesmaid option.

{BHLDN – Allegra £155, Coast – Corine £135}

Last but by no means least, for the boldest of colours, look no further than this fantastic raspberry red.  This chic pinky-red hue really creates a statement when paired with lots of fresh white and modern design for a fun and playful look.

So, are you tempted to go bold for your bridesmaids look?  For even more fun, why not pick a few coordinating colours and let your maids go mad choosing their own jewel-coloured dresses to create a stunning rainbow effect?

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
