SUNSET ROMANCE

Today we have a ridiculously romantic couple shoot for you. It takes place as the sun is setting at a gorgeous beach in South Africa. Pretty perfect, hey? What’s more, the bride-to-be is sporting a beautiful dress, a work of art in itself, which sure caught my eye.

The loving moment was expertly captured by the wonderful  Anneli Marinovich, who is also here to tell you all about the gorgeously romantic occasion…

Marcelle and Morgan’s styled couple shoot took place in the city they fell in love in – Cape Town, South Africa. As the sun set over the Llandudno Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches in the world), I captured their easy love for each other.

When planning their shoot, we decided to add to the romance of the location, with a gorgeous dress for Marcelle – an ex-dancer. After searching for a while, I found THE dress – an ‘art dress’ by a local South African designer – Jana Meintjes from Silver Swallow.

The gorgeous colours and flowing design, suited the setting perfectly and every time Marcelle moved, the setting sun would illuminate the beautiful layers of the dress.

The finishing touch was a pair of  Gold Dust Orchid earrings by London based Victoria Millésime and a beautiful wooden sign board, designed by Elephant Shoe Design, with a beautiful quote by Atticus, chosen by Marcelle: “Love her, but leave her wild”.

I loved working with this sweet couple on this shoot. Together we created images that I hope they will cherish for years to come.
