styled shoot: modern romance

Hello gorgeous readers!

I am so excited to share today’s beautiful styled shoot from Wisconsin-based wedding professionals Britt Taylor Photography and Yellow Brick Events.  This shoot is full of sweet and pretty details, a bang on-trend metallic and pastel palette, resulting in a contemporary take on fairytale romance.

 Britt explains more ~

“Our overall goal was to create a sweet look using completely accessible details for any budget; showcasing that any couple can implement these small thoughtful details and adornments to create a huge visual impact. From the beautiful bride’s loose ethereal hair, sweet and cheery colour palette to the jewelled feather adornment on the invitations; all of these details aim to capture the fresh yet romantic feeling of springtime. Using one of a kind vintage pieces such as; exquisite silver platters and a stunning white painted dessert table alongside a vibrant colour palette showcased by the sugary pink walls of this dreamy location, create a fun sweet atmosphere fit for a storybook. Incorporating modern styled linens, elegant silver chiavari chairs, DIY metallic garlands made from paint samples strips and bright tangerine tango coloured flowers maintain a modern feel to this heavily vintage influenced look. The oh-so-in-love-real-couple models are stunning in a effortlessly chic vintage inspired gown and tailored neutral vest and bow tie. By simply changing between several custom accessories, the bride’s look can dramatically change without having to splurge on items such as second gown.

Louise

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
