WEDDINGS

supplier spotlight: b.inspired by… intricate creations

Good morning gorgeous ladies! This Friday signals the end of a very long week, and the beginning of a lovely & exciting weekend! I’m off to 100% Design this afternoon to soak up some non-wedding related design inspiration for some upcoming projects, and then working with a very special client this weekend which I can share soon!

But before we head off for the weekend, I have some lovely content lined up for you, starting with some gorgeous wedding ideas inspired by Intricate Creations laser cut stationery.  I’ve worked with Intricate Creations a number of times, they provided snowflake themed stationery for my Winter Wonderland inspiration shoot featured in this month’s You & Your Wedding Magazine, and more recently this weekend for a more colourful one!  Infusing the rich and glamorous culture of the East, and chic style of the West, husband and wife team Kay and Jit, create intricate designs with a contemporary edge in a seemingly never ending range of colours and designs!

Today I’ve picked two of their most glamorous designs in this year’s hottest colour trend, metallics.  With a soft glimmer and pearlescent sheen, a metallic theme is perfect for a winter celebration, so today I’m sharing two gorgeous inspiration boards inspired by Intricate Creation collections.

Kay says ~

“Seasonal tones can be easy to work with as colours can dictate the time of year. Pastel themed shades are great for representing the spring blossom; bright colours with plenty of floral blooms will accent the summer months; autumnal reds and gold’s collectively capture the warmth of autumn and, ice white with blues and purples can symbolise a winter wedding”

I put a festive twist on ‘English Rose‘ choosing a subtle metallic silver transforming it from spring bloom to winter rose.  Combining beautiful white roses, shimmering chandeliers and a touch of silver sparkle in the brides dress and shoes creates a glamorous, sophisticated look. Add a hot chocolate bar, and soft candlelight for a warm winter glow.

For warmer romantic look, pick Love Birds in gorgeous gold for an elegant theme with a vintage twist.  Use the love bird motif throughout your day, with a birdcage table plan and golden glittery love bird confetti!  Embrace the glamour of gold with golden accessories and details, how much do I love the gold netting birdcage veil!!

Louise

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
