supplier spotlight: b.inspired by Rachel Simpson & Twobirds Bridesmaid

Happy Friday gorgeous ones!

Every once in a while something awesome happens in the wedding industry! Well, every day something awesome happens in the wedding industry, but I’m talking about something extra-awesome, like two of my favourite suppliers getting together in a fab collaboration that not only makes me super excited, but I know you are going to love. Really love!

It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of Twobirds Bridesmaid!  Their flattering one-size-fits-all dresses solve a multitude of bridesmaid problems, meaning with just one trip you can rest easy in the knowledge that your ‘maids are going to look and feel fabulous on your wedding day, and bag a dress they can wear again and again.  At the Notting Hill boutique Twobirds already offer a selection of stylish accessories to embellish their dresses, but have now teamed up with Rachel Simpson to offer an exclusive collection of beautiful shoes exclusively designed to compliment the Twobirds collection.  Rachel Simpson shoes are stylish and beautifully made, I have long admired her timeless, elegant and beautifully detailed designs.  The new range, featuring three styles each available in two colours, are the perfect match for Twobirds ‘maids!

Let’s b.inspired…

Our first board is inspired by the soft charcoal grey of Twobirds classic wrap dress and pale grey suede of gorgeous peep-toes, Kitty in soft grey suede and an elegant silver trim.  Adding a pretty blush hue, and of course our favourite pink peonies, creates a gorgeous romantic look, and a touch of sparkle adds just the right amount of glamour.  The perfect scheme for an contemporary country wedding.

Ooh, how much do I love this Rosette dress? A lot is how much! Perfect for twirling, this would look gorgeous paired with these pretty Rosie courts in rosewater satin (the rosette is detachable if you wish) .  A modern white on white scheme would work perfectly, adding delicate touches of soft green succulents to add interest throughout.

And finally, an elegant nautical-inspired affair featuring the classic navy ballgown length dress paired with Sofia in navy satin with a touch of sparkle.  For a wedding near the coast you can’t go wrong with a classic navy palette, nautical stripes and ‘tie-the-knot’ details!

Louise

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
