VENUE TOUR: THE IN & OUT CLUB

This afternoon lovely B.LOVED Contributor, Jeni from Vanilla Rose Weddings, is taking us on a tour of ITA* Venues’ In & Out Club.  This hidden gem, tucked away in one of the most glamorous parts of London has heaps to offer for couples planning a city wedding… over to you, Jeni!

From the outside, you would be forgiven for thinking that this beautiful building neatly tucked into a corner of St James’s Square was home to Parliamentary offices, or indeed home to a wealthy Londoner. It’s not until you step inside that you see just how deceptive the façade really is about size…it’s huge! Once home to Nancy Astor, the first woman to sit in Parliament, The In & Out Club is a stunning wedding venue sure to make any Bride feel like a society girl for the day.

The Club boasts a number of rooms to suit almost every size guest list; from the most intimate gathering in The Library to a larger scale celebration in the Coffee Room, which can comfortably seat 120 guests for dining. My favourite, however, is the King Harold V Room. With its gorgeous cream panelled walls, double height ceiling, and imposing crystal chandeliers, this room can accommodate 90 guests for a Civil Ceremony, or 84 for dinner, and benefits from overlooking the pretty courtyard. The In & Out Club is one of very few wedding venues in Central London with an outdoor space; perfect for summer drinks receptions, and you can even spy on your guests from your Bridal Suite before joining them downstairs for your Reception!

Both the Coffee Room and the King Harold V Room are licensed for Civil Ceremonies, so with exclusive use of the Club for your wedding day, it’s the perfect location for hosting a whole day of celebrations from morning preparation with your Bridesmaids right through to settling down with a nightcap before returning to your Colonial Bridal Suite (included in the venue hire!) at the end of the night.

At the foot of a sweeping staircase sits the beautiful lobby; the perfect change of scenery for an evening of dancing. There are several spaces which are simply made for dancing, as both the Coffee Room and the King Harold V Room can cleverly reveal a hidden dance floor beneath the carpet!

Catering is provided by in-house team Ampersand, who work closely with each and every couple to create the perfect bespoke menu, and have their own team of event and waiting staff, who are permanently based at the venue, so you can feel confident that their staff are highly knowledgeable, and will cater for your every need. As I’m sure every Wedding Planner will tell you, the catering is one of the most important decisions to make when it comes to, and you couldn’t get more accommodating than Ampersand, who love nothing more than to get creative with a clients brief for an inspired menu and table design!

If the beauty of this traditional London venue isn’t enough to sway you, there are 52 beautifully decorated hotel bedrooms within the club itself, which are available for your guests to make full use of. What’s better than enjoying a wedding to its fullest, without worrying about catching the last train home?

If you would like any further information, or to arrange a visit, Jodie at ITA Venues would be delighted to help.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
