The New England Issue: Buying Guide

Afternoon my loves! In our last post of The New England Issue I’m sharing some of my favourite props and wedding pretty for styling your day.  With a clean navy & white palette and nautical influences I picked items with classic understated style with a hint of Hamptons homeliness.  This sweet ‘This Way to the I Do’s’ sign is a simple way to direct your guests to your ceremony.  Anything stripy immediately adds a nautical vibe – from sweetie bags and straws to twine.  These cute anchor charms could be added to favours, or tied onto stationery and work perfectly with our downloadable cake toppers from Itty Bitty & Bijou!

I love the idea of adding non-wedding items to your day too – pretty objects that you can use in your home for years to come that will always serve as a reminder of that wonderful day.  Rowen the Wren is the cutest addition to a seaside wedding, while marble chopping boards provide the perfect surface to serve canape’s, display cakes or cheeses to your guests.

It’s an old trend, but a good one, using mason jars tied with a little twine is always a pretty way to display flowers with a rustic twist.  Treat your guests to kraft paper wrapped favours, with navy velvet ribbons and these pretty stamped tags adding a touch of understated  luxury to whatever you put inside.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
