There’s nothing more Christmassy than picking a out the perfect tree, so when our very own Maxeen Kim submitted this cosy love shoot set on a Christmas tree farm of course we just couldn’t resist sharing it!  Fashion blogger Syliva chose to rock a bright red dress for the shoot while her beau Lewis got into the festive spirit with a red and green tartan bow tie and suit – we love this couple’s style!

Lewis and I met in England and fell in love at first sight, we got married in New York over 2 years ago and we had the best day ever. We decided to say ‘I do’ in Central Park on a hot summer’s day with our family, we popped the Champagne at our hotel the Waldorf Astoria and finished the day with a wonderful meal at the Boathouse in the park.

It was such a perfect day and I often wish I could do it all over again (well, ok, I wish it everyday).

We wanted to do this little shoot to remind ourselves of our love for each other and take a little time to switch off our stressful lives for a special moment. As a Fashion blogger, Lewis is always behind the lens so it was nice for him to enjoy a shoot just for us two.

We love to have a few photos around the house, it makes us smile and it’s always nice to have a different background. Christmas is extra special for us, we love to decorate and we also love to pick our tree out together, so the choice of location for the shoot was just perfection.

We hope in the future we can do many more shoots with our family! I grew up seeing my parents and my grand parents so happy in their marriages that I wanted the same for myself. I have a truly amazing husband and a happy marriage, you have to work for it, every relationship takes hard work but it’s so worth it.

For me communication is key in a marriage we are both from two different countries and have two very different cultures but it’s so much more fun that way.

L.O.V.E is the best, it grows everyday and we are stronger together! To my husband Lewis the most patient man I know.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
