If Spring is the time for cleaning, I’m not sure what the Autumnal equivilent is, but a new season is always an excuse for a few new home purchases!  This year I’m still in love with the industrial trend, but am glad to see it’s moved on for 2015 with rough timbers and rusty copper metallics.  There’s something comforting about this moody palette of greys, neutrals and rust that I think are just perfect to see us through this time of year as we spend more time inside, eating roast dinners and wondering whether it’s still too early to put the fire on.

I’ve been eyeing up carnival lighting for quite a while, but I think this month I’ll bite the bullet and treat myself!  I’m rather keen on this zinc arrow from Cox & Cox, it’s fun and quirky and would look pretty cool in the hallway or on the stairs! BUY NOW

Another item on my I-need-one-now list is the wooden ladder. This one, from Cox & Cox again, appeals as it’s got actual real shelves (as opposed to rungs) so it’s practical as well as stylish. There’s a perfect spot in my lounge. BUY NOW

It’s pretty common knowledge that I am the least green-fingered person on the planet.  In fact, the only plant I’ve managed to keep alive is a plastic one that’s been on my windowsill for over 7 years now…  But as I get older, and perhaps a little more interested in the whole keeping-things-alive thing, I’d rather light a terrarium to add a little life to a corner of my home.  This glass prism terrarium from Cox & Cox is rather lovely in it’s geometric industrial way. All homes need a good mirror, and my hallway is missing one right now.  I love the simple black metal frame of this mirror from Graham & Green. BUY NOW

Having wooden floors throughout most of my home, keeping my toes warm is a priority and I’m always on the lookout for rugs.  Graham & Green have got it just right with this New Zealand wool rug with a simple star motif. Super soft and cosy. BUY NOW

H&M is ace for storage.  I love their glass jars, and use them for everything from teabags and sugar to makeup storage.  The smoked grey and gold lid is just right for this Autumnal look. BUY NOW

They also have a fab range of wire storage baskets perfect for an extra blanket next to the sofa, or stashing magazines in the office. BUY NOW

These hanging metal frames have been around for a while now, but they’ve been updated for A/W in this gorgeous copper metal.  I spotted them first at the Oliver Bonas press day, and I shall certainly be picking up a few soon! BUY NOW

With Christmas (yup, there it is, it’s September and there’s the ‘C’ word already) coming up, extra seating is always a plus.  Keep it simple and stylish with this metal chair from Rose & Grey.  BUY NOW

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
