TRAVEL INSPIRATION: COSTA DEL SOL
With Spain being so close, it’s a great country to visit for a family holiday or just a weekend break. Photographer Claire Graham had the pleasure of visiting the Costa del Sol with her family this summer, to enjoy the beauty and culture that Marbella, Malaga, Ronda & Puerto Banus has to offer from white buildings, stone roads and evening markets.
Destination: Spain
Travel time & method: 2 hours flight
Time of year: August
MUST SEE: There is so much to see! Puerto Banus is always interesting if you like to see the big expensive boats docked at the port and the super cars being driven around the one way private road.
Alternatively you could visit Ronda, The old town is so pretty and you can easily lose yourself wondering down the beautiful stone roads surrounded by gorgeous white buildings. You could find yourself in a pretty square enjoying a drink whilst listening to Spanish men playing their guitars – it’s so tranquil.
Also go to the Alameda Del Tajo, it has the most amazing and breath-taking views.
WHERE TO EAT: Piucaro Restaurante in Puerto Banus is a must! I have visited this beautiful restaurant so many times. The food is always delicious and the view is stunning.
WHAT TO EAT: The seafood is always amazing, If you like fish why not try some sardine skewers!
WHERE TO STAY: Gran Melia Don Pepe is such an incredible hotel. Highly recommended.
