luxury easter eggs

I like to think of myself as somewhat of a chocolate connoisseur. So, I’m sure you can imagine just how excited I get when I see the supermarket shelves become laden with the most wonderful chocolaty Easter egg treats.

This year however, is going to be slightly different. Instead of munching my way through a minimum of ten eggs {nope, that’s not a typo} in a bid to avoid putting on at least 7lbs the boy and I have decided to indulge in one luxury Easter treat each.

Now for me just to have one egg it has to be something rather ruddy special. So… I’ve done my research and today I am going to be sharing with you my favourite selection of luxury easter treats out there at the moment {disclaimer – you will want chocolate by the end of this post}

Artisan Du Chocolat £24.99

For young at heart adults and children alike I love this playful egg and how there is a injection of colour in there and was most impressed that the balloon string is none other than sweet strings. Perfect for those of you who can’t decide to satisfy your sweet tooth with sweets or chocolate.

Rococo Chocolate £25.00

Are you handy with a paintbrush?? you will immediately fall in love with this egg. When it arrived I was immediately in awe of the delicate hand painting that’s gone in to it. With a hint of sea salt contrasting with the sugar it tastes every bit as good as it looks.

Amelia Rope £9.99

My mother gifted me these last Easter and they are just like little bites of heaven. Trust me though, you won’t be able to eat just one of these at a time, their delicious goodness will keep you coming back for more.

Charbonnel Et Walker £10.00

No luxury chocolate post would be complete without a shout out to the ever so wonderful Charbonnel Et Walker and this year their packaging is every bit as delightful as their chocolate.

The Any Time Of Year Eggs – Paul Young £12.95

For those of you who wish you could get your mitts on Easter eggs in November then your dreams have come true! these Gull eggs from Paul Young come in attractive pastel hues and have a crunchy praline and sea salted caramel filling… and they are available all year round!

The Indulgent Number – Hotel Chocolat £15.00

Last but not least, I have a feeling this is the one for me! Valentines day treats always involve Hotel Chocolat so this year I’m thinking why not Easter too? plus white chocolate is my absolute fave!
