Last week I got to style a gorgeous white-on-white shoot, and one of my favourite props was a beautiful hexagon marble cheese board, which inspired today’s post! There’s something so luxe and lovely about marble in crisp white with cool grey veining, and it makes a perfect accent in pretty much any style of home.  I’m totally coveting a marble-topped kitchen island right now… but whether you go for a statement piece of furniture with a marble top, or a subtle accessory, these are some of my favourite finds on the highstreet & online this season.

The White Company £35

A marble rolling pin is a classic kitchen accessory, the weight makes it easy to control the thickness of your pastry, and the coolness helps maintain it’s temperature helping you achieve a perfect bake every time. And it looks pretty too. BUY HERE

Tom Dixon, £149

Marble, brass, what’s not to love?! There’s something rather sensual about this design from Tom Dixon, a modern classic design that would look just stunning on your kitchen counter – even if you never actually use it! BUY HERE

Flos, £1,420

The Arco lamp by Flos is an iconic piece, designed Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962, it’s much loved for it’s carrera marble base and contemporary sweeping shape is so elegant and poised. Ok, it’s not cheap, but as an investment piece it’s never going to go out of style. BUY HERE

Harlequin, £59 per roll

If you’re looking for a beautiful but subtle touch for a feature wall, this design from Harlequin is bang on the money. Stunning for a hallway accent, downstairs loo, or even a lounge the swirling marble pattern is elegant, luxe, contemporary and timless all at the same time. BUY HERE

West Elm, £399

I adore this little desk, perfectly retro and modern in style all at the same time. It’s mini size makes it the perfect addition to a hallway corner or spare room, doubling up as work space and dressing table. BUY HERE

Grey & Willow, £20

You can’t go wrong with a trio of storage jars, on a kitchen counter, dressing table or desk. Perfect for storing tea, coffee and sugar, or hiding all those little makeup or stationery bits you need to hand whilst keeping everything looking neat and tidy.  In marble they add a touch of luxury! BUY HERE

John Lewis, £45

I may have mentioned my love of marble and brass, oooh about 30 seconds ago, but just look at how lovely this is! The contrast of warm and cool, natural and industrial finishes is so beautiful and gives this lamp an edgy feel. Would look lush on your nightstand! BUY HERE

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
