In my past life as an interior designer picking out the finishing touches was my favourite part of the job. Those little details pull a scheme together taking it from a random collection of colours, shapes and patterns to a cohesive design. Our powder blue Hamptons-style townhouse (we moved in almost 2 years ago!) dictates a cool, coastal interior style but without the New England sunshine in this little pocket of Surrey it also needs a bit of warmth. Scandinavian style is the perfect answer – clean, simple and functional yet homely and warm with early colour palettes of white, grey and blue with natural wood adding texture, depth and interest.  In my never-ending hunt for perfection I discovered the Scandi Chic collection from Rose & Grey. With luxurious oak finishes paired with white, organic woven materials and touches of black these pieces would complete any contemporary home, and all for under £100. After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
