DIY: SEQUIN CHRISTMAS BAUBLE
Every year I try and think of a different Christmas trinket to gift friends and family I’ll be seeing over the holiday season – without breaking the bank. Earlier this year I stumbled across these clear two-part baubles while searching online and at less than £1 each. Filled with something pretty, with our Christmas bauble tutorial you’ll have a great festive treat on hand for any age in a matter of seconds!
Last week I hosted a bit of an (un)official Wedding industry Christ as office party, so I filled baubles with gold sequin confetti as a pretty favour for each guests to take home. For a grown-up treat you could fill with homemade (or shop bought!) chocolates or sweets and use as place settings on your Christmas dinner table, and for the kids why not package up a little DIY bauble-making kit with coloured pompoms of confetti so they can make their own baubles ready for hanging on the tree? If you’re obsessed with gift wrapping as I am, you could even add them to your Christmas parcels for a fun festive touch.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 7cm two-part clear baubles (we found ours here here)
- Ribbon
- Gift Tags
- Sequins, glitter, confetti or sweet treats
METHOD:
It’s super easy – simply fill your bauble with a filling of your choice and tie with a pretty ribbon and gift tag! If you’re feeling creative, you could even add our Gingerbread Cookie Christmas Gift Tags! Find the recipe here.
