THE ROMANCE OF FALL
It’s no secret I love styling shoots. So the launch of B.LOVED Lifestyle was of course a great excuse to create something new, beautiful and inspirational in an I-could-totally-do-this-at-home kinda way. It was also a great reason to pull together some of my very favourite people, the star members from my all-new Contributor’s Network, some of whom have been supporting B.LOVED from the very beginning and others who are new to the team but hold just as dear place in my heart. They have been curated especially to bring you exclusive, inspirational, luxe and lovely styled shoots once a quarter, and I could not be more proud to share the results from our first lifestyle shoot photographed, of course, by Anneli Marinovich.
As well as reflecting our new brand using toned-down autumnal palette of muted mint, dusky pink and hazy lilac, and fashion editorial style, I wanted this shoot to inspire you with ideas to recreate at home this Autumn (you’ll find the DIY’s right here throughout the next month). Southend Barns provided our perfect rustic, contemporary setting, with exposed beams and whitewashed walls ready to welcome your guests. A cosy evening around an informal – but beautifully styled – table set with luxurious tableware and elegant details, and softened with a wild and organic floral centrepiece by Liz at Bluesky Flowers, informally styled as if picked straight from the garden. Fur rugs, comfy cushions and warm blankets to sink into and relax with friends, glass of wine in hand, log fire burning.
To achieve an elegant yet casual look, our gorgeous models wore Maids to Measure dresses and wrapped up in chunky knits from Pret A Portobello, scarves and statement necklaces from Accessorize, Forever 21 and Vintage Styler. Ana Ospina used warm pastels with golden accents to create glowing Autumnal makeup looks, and Bethany Alden styled their hair in tumbling curls and loose braids.
They tuck into a delicious array of cheeses, bread and cured meats from Social Pantry, presented on a much-loved farm table, using wooden boards, stands and domes to create an informal, yet exquisite, display. Simple tags designed by Eagle Eyed Bride carry the autumnal feel, with muted confetti reflecting falling leaves, and explain the flavours and delights.
