TRAVEL INSPIRATION: CRETE
I’m rather jealous of Claire Graham, not only does she get to jet off all over the world but she takes the most beautiful photos which capture the memories and essence of each destination perfectly. Lucky for us, we get to share them all right here, and today we’re jetting off to sunny Crete. It’s all so quaint and rustic, and there’s definitely still a strong tradition for handmade crafts, which are on sale in the picturesque towns and villages for when you get bored of the beach!
Destination: Crete. Greece
Travel time: About 4 hours flight
Time of year: August
I’ve been so fortunate to travel to many countries and one of my favourites is Crete. It’s full of beauty, culture and good food, not to mention friendly locals. The sea is so calm and clear with the most stunning and inviting turquoise colours. Around many coves you can find pretty lagos with bars and restaurants that are so relaxing and refreshing!
If you feel more adventurous then there are many villages to visit, which are bursting with colour, history and prettiness. It’s certainly a country worth visiting and I would certainly go back!
