I’m pretty sure we’d all love to be Erzsibet right now, the bright blue sky and crystal clear turquoise water of Trigg Beach in Perth, Western Australia is certainly calling to me!  I love the simplicity of this shoot, capturing this gorgeous little girl as she gets another year older, and photographer Liesl Cheney has caught her sweet little personality just perfectly!

From Mum Lene –

What does being a mum mean to you? It is the single most significant event in my life. I was instantly in love when I laid my eyes on her. To have the privilege of helping a person ‘become’ has been at times challenging, but every second of it is worth it. She surprises me every day with her witty attitude and sparkling personality. She has grown into a beautiful little girl who is sincere and loves helping others and that makes me very proud. I have been asking her what she wants to become when she is grown up every year. First we started off with the usual choices, a princess, and then a year later a ballerina. After that it was a doctor and a chef, but this year has truly been the most unexpected answer of them all. When I asked her what she wants to be, she just answered: “a helper”. When I asked her to elaborate a bit more, maybe a nurse or teacher, she just answered me flatly: “no, just a helper. I just want to help people”. I am truly honoured and privileged to call Erzsibet my daughter.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
