THE PERFECT PICNIC
Nothing is better with children than an impromptu picnic. Plus, with the impending summer holidays and resulting queues for the cafés at all the top attractions it’s a much more stress-free option as well as being budget friendly!
With two children I’m determined to be more organised when I pack for a day out and I have finally found my picnic essentials which can make light work of your picnic packing!
First up is this genius product from Anorak called the Picnic pouch (£16 Anorak) It can stay in your bag all year round and its light weight. Yes, it doesn’t include cups but you will probably be taking your child’s spill proof bottle anyhow and it saves on space!
Another useful item is this super cute picnic blanket which is a great price (£12.99 H&M). It has a waterproof plastic backing and comes with a carry strap. I love the jungle scene and your little adventurer will no doubt love it too.
You won’t mind carrying this pretty cooler bag (£29.95 Joules) which is super stylish and great quality.
If your little ones insist on carry their own, then how about this super stylish basket from Edit 58 (£16). So on trend for this summer with the embroidery and it’s affordable too
I have these rice cups in my kitchen and they are indestructible, go in the dishwasher and are perfect for picnics. Rice have some great melamine so do check out the whole range (£20.99 Rice).
Finally, you can never have enough Tupperware and Paperchase always come up trumps. I love this set, it reminded me of my nephew Bertie who can name all the dinosaurs. I’m sure your little one would enjoy naming them too (£8 Paperchase)!
