Maternity Session in the Rolling Hills of Virginia

Film Photographer P.Thien Nguyen shares with us this dreamy maternity session with fellow photographer Alicia. Set in such lush countryside, the vistas and flourishing flowers are all that’s needed! With styling by Lauren Emerson and hosted by Belle Lumiere Magazine, this shoot oozes that coveted fine art aesthetic and I adore the simplicity of the colours and long linen dress worn, with tumbling loose curls. Here is P.Thien to tell us more about their session together.

“This was a beautiful maternity session set on the rolling hills of Virginia. Alicia was due any day now and she looked radiant. When I met her, I was struck by her incredibly sweet, friendly and pleasant disposition. Alicia couldn’t have been easier to work with. I had her out in the rain posing, she even ran through the vineyard with no shoes on. She was such a good sport about everything. Being able to capture and preserve this moment for her felt like such an honor. They say there’s a glow to pregnant women, and Alicia was definitely glowing from her head to her toes.”
