#101: Scandinavian Rustic inspiration

Morning my loves! How was your weekend? I hope you weren’t snowed in? We spent a lovely few days down on the coast, despite the bitter cold!

This morning I’m sharing the last in the series of inspiration boards I created for the London Wedding Emporium.  If you came along a few weeks ago you would have seen these boards brought to life using beautiful products from some of the exhibitors, and if you didn’t make it then there are pics below!  The idea for Scandinavian Rustic was to bring together natural tones and textures with contemporary style, adding a hint of on-trend metallics and industrial exposed brick.  A neutral palette of hessian, kraft and tweed is a base for muted tones, of navy, moss and bronze suit our nature-loving boho bride with it’s relaxed but coordinated vibe.  I love the bus blind graphics – this idea would work perfectly to tell your story as an invitation, or as a printed canvas decorating your reception venue.  Strings of Polaroids share childhood and family memories.  Silvery succulents, herbs and planted shrubs are livened up with seasonal white flowers, anemones, stocks and gardenia perhaps?

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
