#136: winter romance

Good morning my loves! This morning I’m sharing the last of my festive wedding inspiration boards, and this one is so different to the rest! Gone are the rich reds and greens, bold colours and festive tones, as we embrace the cosy romance of winter with a toned down and pretty peach and silver palette.   Although most often seen in Spring and Summer weddings, there’s no rule that these pretty tones can’t be used in winter. In fact, I think they’re pretty darn gorgeous all year round – just add a touch of shimmer and sparkle for a seasonal twist.

Treat your guests to sparkling peach Bellini’s, before seating them at the prettiest of tables, with matching peach crockery and flickering candlelight adding warmth and a golden glow.  Carry bouquets filled with winter roses in white, ivory and peachy tones and add texture with velvety silver foliage and festive orange berries.  The last few falling leaves and bare branches make a romantic backdrop in the peachy golden sunlight of winter, wrap up warm in a feathery white stole and embrace the season with a touch of bling – if only I were brave enough to wear these mighty pear-drop earrings!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
