#144: Roses & Romance

Morning wedding lovers!  If you missed my post yesterday, click here to read b.loved’s exciting news!

This week’s inspiration board is for the truly girly-girl.  Using the most romantic of flowers, the rose, in soft blush pink, champagne and ivory shades this classic combination oozes romance and elegance.  These blousy blooms, combined with a little green foliage in bouquets and table centres take on a subtle garden-party vibe perfect for an English summer celebration.  Don’t you just love the cake-display backdrop, an abundance of perfect roses tucked carefully into white shutters?  If you’re a fan of the ruffle you’ll just covet this perfect creation by Claire Pettibone.  And the cakes, all decorated with fresh,  sugar paste and buttercream roses are perfectly pretty, while a touch of sparkle (both the fizzy and glitzy varieties!) add glamour and elegance.

This look would be perfectly at home at a gorgeous garden wedding with the sun shining & guests sipping champagne on beautifully manicured lawns!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
