#152: summer of love

bohemian summer wedding inspiration, gold, mustard, plum, emerald, festival wedding, bohemian bride, floral crown

Happy Monday wedding lovers!  With the promise of a long, hot summer still to come (well, we can dream right?!) filled with festivals, weddings & that happy sunshine vibe this week’s inspiration brings to life that hazy feeling of golden summer evenings and bohemian romance.  This look is super soft & relaxed, yet to get that wild, carefree look without looking messing takes some planning! The bride wears a light and floaty wedding dress with touches of pattern and lace accessorised simply with a pair of gorgeous sandals and boho floral crown.  Her wild, tumbling bouquet filled with unusual blooms and textures introduces colour – rich, but muted mustard, emerald and plum shades.  Bridesmaids in mismatched maxi dresses, hair loosely styled.  On the tables, rough uncovered timber, an eclectic mix of coloured glass and wild floral displays with simple placesettings, add to the carefree vibe.  If you must say your vows indoors, bring the outside in with a simple floral backdrop display taped to a wall for the ultimate in bohemian simplicity.  For the little ones, cute couple shots and the adults who have yet to grow up, a tipi tent makes the perfect finishing touch!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
