173: Mustard & Merlot
It’s just 1 week or 7 days or 168 hours (yikes!!) until we launch the new b.loved, and I literally can NOT wait to show you what we’ve been working on over the past few months. In fact, if I could show you right now I would but I think my web designers Ashley & Malone may just have a mini panic attack! But while we’re busy testing, tweaking and making the new look blog utterly beautiful, there will still be a week of stunning inspiration right here, every day this week.
Perhaps it’s the cooler weather, or perhaps is the tension of building a new site, but this autumn I’ve found myself craving a juicy glass of red wine in the evening, something I never thought I would! So I’m kicking off our final week in our current guise with some warm and cosy inspiration using rich merlot shades. I’ve paired it with a colour that so often gets overlooked at this time of year, a muted yellow or mustard tone adds a much needed pop of colour and adds some contrast to all those warm berry colours. I’m head over heels for these bold & beautiful dresses – but if you want to stick to bridal white why not dress your bridesmaids in a mix of these two shades? Add an autumnal touch to flowers and bouquets with ripe juicy berries mixed into wild flower bouquets for a relaxed and slightly boho vibe. Add warm blankets and chunky knits to keep you and your guests warm and make for cute and cosy wedding pics too!
Don’t you just love autumn weddings?
