Getting a pet is high on my to-do list… but for now I’m living vicariously through other animal-mamas both on and offline!  We’re a nation of animal-lovers and our pets just handy for snuggling with on the couch and cheering us up with their crazy antics on a bad day, but bona fide members of the family.

So when it comes to your wedding day, we’d love to see more of you include your darling dogs, fancy felines and beautiful bunnies, so we’ve scoured the internet for the most adorably cute ways to include pets at weddings.  From cats in bow-ties to dogs in floral collars, not forgetting the essential wedding llamas, lambs and donkeys (because, frankly, why not?!)

Disclaimer: if you don’t already have a pet this post may encourage you to get one in time for your big day…Remember pets are for life, not just for weddings!

If your pet is pretty well behaved then why not get them involved in the ceremony? A well-timed treat could persuade your pooch to safely bring the rings down the aisle.  If they’re ridiculously cute but a bit of a ‘mare, then include in your engagement shoot – you’ll be more relaxed and have more time than on your wedding day.  And don’t forget animals who live at your venue – they all add to the story of your day. And did I mention they’re ridiculously cute?!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
