#99: confetti pop! pink, yellow & green inspiration

Happy Monday lovers!! I’ve such a fun way to start the week, with this colour pop! inspiration board!  The idea behind this board comes from the two very talented & creative ladies behind the London Wedding Emporium, Kat Hill and Caro Hutchings, where I exhibited last weekend.  As part of their mission to make LWE a very different kind of wedding fair, they wanted to create ‘real life’ inspiration boards in between the supplier stands and asked me to style them!

Based on the contemporary bright LWE colours, pink, yellow and green, this scheme is fresh, funky and modern! It’s definitely one for our statement bride!  Use your stationery, props and accessories to add  personality throughout your day, keeping the backdrop white to make your accent colours really stand out.  Your decor can really go bold with a bright colour palette, use giant balloons, statement streamer backdrops and bold flowers in minimal glass bottles and vases.  Why not ask your guests to shower you with sequin confetti for a sparkly touch to your photo’s (check with your venue first), and play with stripes and chevrons to bring colour into your stationery and place settings.  Surprise your guests with a ‘funfetti’ filled naked cake and colourful macarons for a playful dessert table!

And this is how it looked at the London Wedding Emporium! Thank you to all the exhibitors who contributed their products!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
