b.party Part 3 ~ Time to Party
Here it is, the bit you’ve really all been waiting for!! But do check out our behind the scenes & beautiful b.party on beautiful film posts first if you missed them earlier! We asked the lovely Lel Hurst Photography to capture the b.party details and antics for us. A new photographer to these b.loved pages I couldn’t be more delighted to introduce her to you! And yup, she totally rocked it!

LoveHair & Katrina Otter Weddings have a giggle, while the lovely bride&glory gets even more gorgeous with Ana Ospina

It was really important to me that our guests had a great time. And part of having a great time at a party is knowing you look the part too. So our lovely Ana and the gorgeous Jo from LoveHair set up the b.beautified salon to welcome our guests for a mini-pampering session and a glass off fizz to tame their tresses and touch up their makeup to make everyone feel as gorgeous as they looked.

the most insanely gorgeous patisserie display, ever! by Kalm Kitchen
As b.party co-hosts I decided early on to showcase the talents and creativity of the b.team with a dedicated ‘gallery’. The amazing Eagle Eyed Bride created a stack of fabulous gold frames for us, and the girls got creative hanging bouquets and SOS baskets, creating moodboards and hanging trinkets and sparkly bits, while Luella’s Boudoir and Maids to Measure showcased a completely stunning collection of dresses, and Kalm Kitchen came up with the most creative patisserie bar, like, ever!
We were also lucky to have two gorgeous ladies modelling some of Luella’s Boudoir’s newest collections. The detailing on these dresses had everyone – guys included – swooning and planning their vow renewals ;)

Another serious talking point was the food, and this was not just any food. Kalm Kitchen’s utterly delicious canapé’s, expertly prepared by chef James & his team in the kitchen, was all beautifully displayed by Jen in the most wonderful of ways. I am utterly convinced that every party should have canapé’s delivered in birdcages, and woodland-inspired patisserie bars!

The Cocktail Service boys provided the eye candy, I mean, came along to keep out guests hydrated with a selection of specially made cocktails, from b.rambles to mint to b. mocktails! Totally delish (and the cocktails weren’t bad either ;))

The Photo Emporium’s photobooth, along with it’s pretty-as-a-picture floral backdrop from Eagle Eyed Bride proved to be the evening’s biggest hit! With a suitcase of props, instant print outs and tweets every single guests strutted their stuff in the booth! You can see all the pics (embarrasing ones included) here.

The totally hot Gemma Sutton & beau rock the booth like pro’s!
Whoever said ‘a party without cake is just a meeting’ was oh, so very right. We couldn’t throw a party without as array of pastel-coloured treats, so invited some of our favourite cake-tresses along to add a little sweetness to the evening. Sugar’s epic red velvet and vanilla confetti-covered cake stole the show (how cool is that glittery b. topper?!)
Sugar’s Got to Be Glitter cake & sparkly cake pops too centre stage. Love that b. topper!!
Cookies & dress cookie pops from Nila Holden & cupcakes from Crumb Couture
LoveMarzipan’s personalised lovehearts. Yum. With tissue confetti from The Sweet Hostess
Providing the entertainment for the evening were the incredible Travelling Hands, who I met at a fair earlier this year and left with the memory of their gorgeous vocals, on trend tracks and general oozing of coolness. They brought along the whole band, so we had a mix of vocalists and groups throughout the night adding to the atmosphere. And of course our wonderful guests!
