Hannah & Alice, the two ladies behind luxe bridal brand Belle & Bunty, are probably the two chicest chicks I know, and each month I eagerly await their style posts over on B.LOVED Lifestyle.  This month however they’re back doing what they love best – bridal styling!

With so many beautiful ideas out there – and so much choice – just how is a girl meant to decide what to wear on the most important day of her life? We let the luscious ladies loose on Pinterest and asked them to  fine their top bridal styling tips for 2016… wanna see what they came up with??! Over to you girls…

Channel the 70s vibe with metallics for your footwear. We love seeing a flash of gold popping out from underneath a wedding dress and its worth investing in something special as you would most definitely wear them again afterwards. We suggest some cutwork detail from Rachel Simpson, a platform form Terry de Havilland or something chic and retro from Jimmy Choo.

Veil – yay or nay?! That is always the question! We think something simple and delicate can look beautiful and make a big wedding day statement. Go for one layer of pure silk and wear it low into the nape of your neck for the relaxed, laid back bridal style.

This Winter we are big into a faux fur stole. Pick a non-bridal shade of taupe or peach which you can match back into flowers and accessories and can wear again after the big day

To really make your big day look your own, you can style your dress or separates with a detailed belt and get your personality across with your choice of jewellery. We’d choose layers and layers of yellow gold chains, gold hoop earrings and 1 key brooch belt to draw your eye to your waist which is very slimming and flattering.

Sometimes your hair can make as a big a statement as your dress and we think the loose and easy going look is always a winner. The high impact, low maintentance messy bun looks perfect with a floral headpiece or opt for a true Boho chic look and get a plait on your big day – we did!

Especially for a Spring or Summer wedding you cant beat a floral crown. Go for a mid size in shades of peaches to release your inner hippie and keep skin dewy and make up light and fresh for a beautiful natural, bohemian look

Separates have been big business this year and this trend looks like its not slowing down anytime soon. Create you own bridal look by picking your top and skirt shape then get creative with styling and all the add ons like lace overtops or even have 2 tops for your big day and wear one of them at your anniversary dinner with jeans!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
