Blushing Modern Grandeur
This meticulously styled shoot is the essence of modern sophistication. It artfully combines soft blush and gold hues with crisp white notes to create effortless elegance and timeless glamour.
Victoria Amrose Photography conducted this styled photo shoot at Shooters Hill Hall, a beautiful Georgian mansion located just outside of Shrewsbury in the United Kingdom. To complement the impressive location, this styled shoot also featured magnificent bespoke gowns from the Claire Mischevani collection.
Victoria aspired to capture the stately and historic artistry that defined this occasion. We love the way that she seamlessly blended the couple and the rural setting with the sophisticated décor and the grandeur of this stately venue. The combination of these elements creates a timeless and elegant effect.
The talented designers at Shooters Hill Hall, Tipples Tableware, Hidden Weddings and Blossom & Bloom opted to feature vintage pieces in a soft blush colour palette in the tablescape to enhance the established style of the venue’s interior.
A Georgian mansion set within the beautiful Shropshire countryside provided the setting for this romantic editorial shoot. The theme was luxe elegance, which was paired with a variety of soft, feminine touches.
The Colour Palette
Victoria from Victoria Amrose Photography: “We opted for a soft feminine colour palette of blush, peach and nude to keep the tones warm while complementing both the clean white façade of the hall and the picturesque meadow outside.”
Pale pinks and bright, light florals (with minimal greenery) created a fresh and soft look. The florist, Blossom & Bloom, used a mix of dahlias, pure white anthuriums, Westminster Abbey roses, orchids, bridal proteas and nude hydrangeas with the texture of dried pampas grasses and lagurus. The result was a timeless teardrop bridal bouquet with flowing peach ribbons.
A tablescape centrepiece of simple loose florals spread the length of the large dining table. By combining a fresh floral display with balloons, the team was also able to create a stand-out design feature, which was used as a focal backdrop for the couple.
- Add some romantic femininity by incorporating warm tones and soft textures.
- Look for simple, one-colour backdrops for a selection of your wedding day portraits. These won’t distract or compete with your chosen elements (e.g. dress or florals). For this shoot, the white façade of the venue’s hall was perfect for this.
- Instead of using one centrepiece per table, consider using multiple loose floral arrangements to break up the tablescape.
