Boconnoc House Beauty and Flair

If you’re dreaming of a wedding which is very Fine Art inspired, with luxurious calligraphy on thick handmade paper stock, delicate silk ribbons and tall tapered candles aglow next to incredible floral designs which look like works of art all by themselves – then today’s incredibly beautiful inspiration by Irena K Photography will make your heart sing! Here she is to tell us more about the inspirations and details;

“This elegant editorial bridal shoot was conducted  in collaboration with a wonderful German fine art photographer Angelika Krinke, whom I had the pleasure to meet earlier this year. Angelika always wanted to create a photo shoot in the UK and my heart was set on the most gorgeous venue – Boconnoc House and Gardens. Situated in a beautiful and peaceful area of Cornwall – Lostwithiel – it has a wealth of history dating back to 1086! A wonderful choice for anyone planning either a small intimate function or a large wedding, the space is not an issue here.

Usually historical buildings in the UK have darker interiors which is great if you want to create a more mysterious and moody atmosphere. So it was very refreshing to learn that the drawing room of the Boconnoc House had a totally different look – white walls and plenty of beautiful natural light, as well as gorgeous features of the house. It perfectly tied in with our style and the look we have envisioned for this particular shoot.  On the other hand, there are plenty of rooms and other areas with darker interiors, so you have the best of both worlds.

Every bride wants to look wonderful and feel comfortable, so we wanted to create a relaxed look and effortless elegance while maintaining the luxury feel of a big day – from the hair & makeup of the bride to the way she carried herself, not to mention the most gorgeous details… Cherry Williams dresses are very lightweight, very easy to move around in and will make any bride look stunning with minimum effort, so she has one less thing to worry about and can fully enjoy her day. Breathtaking flower arrangements created by the most wonderful floral designer Amanda Randell will not just add life and the romantic aspect to the wedding – they will transform any space into a dream!”
