Rosedew Farm: Classic Yet Contemporary
Raw, natural beauty has its own charm and Honeydew Moments beautifully captures the understated elegance that make up this relaxed, attractive shoot. The neutral aesthetic of Rosedew Farm provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, accentuated by rustic florals which contrast perfectly with the bride’s playful, modern dress. From the lovely location and the rustic florals to the stunning bridal pieces by London Halfpenny, this shoot exemplifies a classic yet contemporary country wedding.
Style and Colour Palette
A delicate combination of elegant, relaxed yet playful – this style is easily achievable for any modern bride with plans for a countryside wedding. Featuring a colour palette of ivory with dusty rose and stone among other muted tones, the consistent use of neutral colours and soft powder pastels creates an understated backdrop.
A white flowy dress bordered with ruffled frills at the bottom displays natural innocence and playfulness in sync with the overall relaxed theme. Simple and soft hair and make up shows off the bride’s natural beauty.
Florals, Décor and other Details
The venue was decorated with a refined mix of dried and fresh florals and foliage in line with the subtle colour palette and authentic style. Dried pink delphiniums featured consistently throughout all of the floral shots gives the setting an untamed, natural feel. The bridal bouquet includes matching florals in peach and blush tones tied together with a silk ribbon. Dyed cheesecloth was attached to the ribbon to add mass and create a draping effect in different shades.
One Splendid Day arranged a tasteful floral centerpiece. The tablescape used a mix of quirky flower vessels adorned with amber vases, metallic candle stands and sand-toned linens.
Lucy Mcspirit Design & Stationery designed stunning minimalist stationery in natural hues with hints of soft peach. Lily’s Bake Box baked a classic white cake, adorned with dried grasses and blush florals, that fit the overall theme perfectly.
