diy #5: mini bunting

Happy Thursday wedding peeps!

So, you know all these little project’s I’ve been busy beavering away on over the last few weeks?  Well I finally get to share one of them with you!

Today I’m delighted to introduce a new member to the Bijoux Bride DIY team!  Amber of Vintage Princess, is a bride to be and wedding stationer with a love for paper-based goodies!  Vintage Princess offers something a little different from your traditional wedding designs, so if you’re looking for something unique, head over to her website and check out some of her latest work!

Today we’re sharing a super cute mini bunting printable for your wedding cake, in not just one but a choice of six colours, so you should be able to find something to suit your scheme :)

You will need:

1 x printable mini-bunting template in a colour of your choice {see below}

2 x bamboo skewers {from any good cookshop}

A pair of scissors

A length of bakers twine in a coordinating colour

1. Print out the downloadable template and cut out the letters you require

2. Score a line in the centre of each diamond shape, glue, and gently fold over your length of twine

3. Tie the twine to your bamboo skewers and display in the top of your cake

Easy as 1,2,3!

And enjoy :)

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
