Elopement Wedding Inspiration in the Lake District
Let’s whisk you away to the mountain scenery of the Lake District today and an Elopement wedding inspiration with a bohemian edge. Planned by Wild Ones in the beautiful setting of Blea Tarn, this inspiration is about the outdoor ceremony setting, surrounded by spectacular views – making this all the more intimate. Captured by myself, Catharine Noble Photography, I loved the mist falling down the mountains and the warm burnt hues of of the countryside awaiting Spring!
With styling by L27 Weddings + Events and Floral design by Picking Posies, there are some beautiful ideas for you which mix modern with boho and a touch of fine art wedding styles. The contemporary backdrop for the ceremony was a triangular structure reflecting the mountain vista, and decorated with a touch of Pampas Grass, and amazing floral design which looked whimsical and wild with natural colours. Florist Becky, is inspired by the seasons and hand-picked British grown flowers such as the sweet Hellebore in the bouquet. For the wonderful table setting Louise of L27 Weddings used soft blue and blush pink linens as a pretty contrast to the landscape. I loved the neutral coloured tall taper candles and antique pieces such as wine goblets, dishes holding tealights and then modern pink plates and these fabulous perspex boxes with white calligraphy as the place setting names, created by Willow Beau.
