Ethereal at Aynhoe Park
With Spring just around the corner we’re thrilled to share beautiful inspirations for weddings which include lighter colours, fresh greenery and the outdoors! Captured by Alexis Knight and set at the unique venue of Aynhoe Park in the Cotswolds countryside! An elegant wedding gown of lace with delicate florals from Ellie Sanderson matches the countryside setting and season perfectly!
Romaine of Honey + Bloom, tells more about the details; “The wedding shoot celebrates the beauty of all things organic, luxe and British, showcasing an ethereal side of Aynhoe Park. The ethos behind this shoot highlights that one can still be elegant and opulent with organic materials whilst combining the sustainable philosophy of all the wonderful artisan suppliers who collaborated. I was keen to use as many sustainably locally grown British flowers as I could thus supporting and celebrating our local British flower farmers. The table setting is an eye-catching contrast of refinement and rustic paired with fine crystal glassware, ornate crockery, mother-of-pearl silverware atop a vintage oak table. The seasonal floral garland of creamy pink café-au-lait dahlias, delicate apricot scented garden roses and textural elements from the silvery green eucalyptus complements the soft peach tones of the organic silk runner and napkins that were naturally dyed by Lancaster and Cornish.
Fragrant flat peaches and cherries were arranged amongst the vintage crystal and candles creating an intimate setting. The bespoke letterpress calligraphy stationery suite on artisan hand torn paper designed by Imogen Owen was written in muted sage green ink pulling the whole look together perfectly. Fiona Perry Flowers brought the design brief to life creating the most stunning bridal bouquets featuring British heritage roses from The Real Flower Company, scented jasmine, mint, philadelphus and blowsy Bowl of Cream peonies were delightful additions!
The pretty cake table features a stunning white chocolate ‘torn paper ruffles’ wedding cake made with 100% organic ingredients by The Natural Cake Company which also reflects the peach tones of the table setting and mimics the torn paper wedding stationery suite – I styled the cascading cake flowers continuing the natural organic wild floral style. A beautiful drinks station featuring sparkling vintage crystal, organic pink Prosecco from Daylesford and healthy cold-pressed cocktails which are great energy lift for the bride and refreshing alternative to alcohol provided by The Healthy Juice Company were teamed with an urn of wild cream lupins and cascading peonies, English roses and foliages. It was a great pleasure to work with a talented and authentic team of wedding suppliers.
