Exquisite Vow Renewal in Oxford

Prepare yourself for the incredible amount of pretty we have on BLOVED today with Hian + Jeanny’s Vow Renewal in Oxford. It’s utterly elegant with a colour palette of creams and blush! Styled by the wonderful Vanilla Rose Weddings + Events, and captured by the lovely romantic style of Julie Michaelsen Photography who tells us more about the day… “From the moment I first spoke to Hian & Jeanny, I knew they were a couple deeply in love. They married in a Civil Ceremony several years ago, but had always dreamed of marrying within a Catholic Church to “confirm” their marriage to one another. So they decided to hold their intimate yet glamorous Vow Renewal in the heart of Oxford; a City close to Hian’s heart, as he graduated from Trinity College at Oxford University, before relocating back to Singapore.”

“They chose to hold their Catholic Ceremony at Greyfriars Church in Oxford; a stunningly beautiful quintessential English Church, during which the Bride surprised the Groom with a performance of a song close to their hearts alongside the Choir – there was not a dry eye in the house! Following their emotional and heartfelt Ceremony, and after some precious couple portraits in the grounds of Trinity College, guests were treated to a spectacular evening Reception in the Divinity School at the Bodleian Library; a building which is home to one of the oldest libraries in Europe, but perhaps is more famously known for it’s appearance as Hogwarts hospital wing in the Harry Potter films!”

“The gloriously carved ceilings and the outstanding beauty of this historic venue provided the perfect backdrop for Luxury Wedding Planner Jeni Amey at Vanilla Rose Weddings to create an enchanted setting for Hian, Jeanny and their guests. Using crisp whites and hints of blush, tables were dressed with luxury linens, beautiful blush pink glass crockery from Duchess & Butler, and outstanding floral beauty from Joanna Carter Flowers. Passion for Food served a delicious seated meal, and guests were then treated to the most delicious cake from Princess Patisserie before dancing the night away to a Jazz Trio, fronted by Nell Greco. We hope you’ll agree that Bride Jeanny looked absolutely incredible in both of her gowns; which were designed by a close friend and couture Bridal Designer Renee Leong.”
