Feminine Beauty: A Fine Art Boudoir
We don’t often share Boudoir sessions here on B.LOVED – so when we do, you just know it must be amazing! We fell in love with this fine art editorial styled by Satu of Blank Canvas Workshops and captured by Willow Visuals. Satu tells us more about this editorial, the story behind it and what makes it so magical; “This delicate boudoir shoot its feminine beauty celebrates the artistic elements of a woman’s body. Curvature, or textures of fabrics against the skin, or the brush of a fingertip across the lips tells a beautiful story. Whatever it is that is being photographed, it is creating beauty from angles, glances from unspoken words. It’s about organic beauty. As the location provided such a natural contrast it was easy to combine old and modern elements at this shoot. The darkly painted walls with rundown doorways and windows of Oitbacka Manor house Orangery, the beautiful winter gardens living quarters gave the shoot the contrast of old and new. With natural toned, modern bed linen, pillows and blankets the bed is a wonderful focus point of the room.
Stunning floral arrangement in the side table and the lush bouquet bursting with subtle natural and light pink tones with a hint of Autumn elements tie together so beautifully the locations coloring. Also giving the modern feel some luxury. The blush toned tulle and lace robe, almost a gown like floating around the models ballerina like moves gives time to time a subtle hint of the beautiful shapes of women’s body. Keeping the models overall look with hair and makeup natural the focus is on hers naturally beautiful features.”
