It’s engagement shoot central here at B.LOVED towers this week, and I am reveling in it. There is nothing I love more than hearing people’s engagement stories. Every one is so different, but so perfectly crafted and thought out for those involved.

Today’s couple, Dina and Cam, got engaged in private in the grounds of their family farm but were greeted by their families when they returned back to the house – the perfect way to share the excitement.

Carolyn from Adore Weddings styled the engagement shoot in the exact spot that Cam proposed, and once again, Bron from Vanilla Photography captured the magic perfectly… and as if that isn’t enough encouragement to keep on scrolling, I am massively crushing on Dina’s floral crown. And I am pretty sure you will be too…

The proposal:

Cameron and I met just over ten years ago when we were in High School and even though we have been together for a long time I can honestly say that his proposal was a complete surprise…

After a lazy Sunday afternoon nap Cameron persuaded me to get off the couch to take the dogs for a walk, as we ordinarily do. Dressed in my tracksuit pants and t-shirt I reluctantly agreed and off we went. Completely oblivious to what was happening we took a stroll down to the river on our family farm. Once we reached the riverside under a beautiful tree I turned around to find Cameron on one knee… the moment could not have been any more perfect and looking back I am so happy that it was just the two of us (and of course the dogs).

After taking it all in we slowly walked back to the house were I was yet again surprised to find both of our families waiting to celebrate!

In just less than three months we’ll be celebrating our wedding on this beautiful farm that we get to call home. It’s hard to put into words just how incredibly special this time in our lives has been.
