Today’s engagement shoot is perfect wedding fodder because not only is it a homage to love, it has lots of styling inspiration that you could carry right on through to your wedding as well.

I for one am pretty sold on the green, gold and pink combo.

Nadia Farinha from Wildflower Photography is the genius behind the lens. So I will let you the pictures do the talking and leave Nadia and Ezalle from Mytrle Events (the floral stylist behind today’s beautiful look) to fill in the gaps.

Inspiration words to describe this Engagement session would definitely be: Romantic, Intimate, Soft and Elegant. With flowers consisting of: Hydrangeas, Garden Roses, Peonies, Blushing Brides and various greens. Colours consisted of soft pastel pinks, greens and purples with a touch of old gold to complete the look.

Bride-to-be Bianca had a clear vision of what her session should consist of, and her main desire was to have something that would be intimate and reflect their love for one another. Having Bianca’s desires in mind we created intimate table setting for two where the two love birds would be able to sit and enjoy a glass of champagne and just gaze into each other eyes. To top of the look, a cascading bouquet was created.

We also decided to have a Windowpane covered in greens and florals together with an off white lantern filled with various florals. A beautiful soft pink ombre cake was created by Mmm Macarons and topped with various florals to compliment the total look and feel of the session. And oh what a fun session it was, this couple’s love for one another was so infectious and you could see that they are a match made in marital heaven. They giggled the whole session through and Henco could not wait to steal a kiss or three every time his Bride-to-be stood close to him.
