Idyllic Cotswolds Countryside Inspiration
Hi Lovelies! It’s Louise here! At the beginning of the summer we were invited to experience the hospitality and relaxed luxury of Lords of the Manor, a 17th Century hotel nestled in the idyllic Cotswolds countryside. Arriving on a beautiful summer’s afternoon we were warmly greeted by the hotel team and showed to our classically styled room, before eagerly heading outside to enjoy the sunshine (and a signature G&T, or two!).
For lovers of florals and botanicals, Lords of the Manor is a dream venue. The gardens are stunning year round, with huge lawns to the front leading down to a stream and with views to the hills beyond, and a terrace to enjoy drinks, croquet and catching up with friends. The walled garden to the rear of the property is just as gorgeous, and the perfect place to exchange vows within the heady scent of the summer blooms. Inside, the recently renovated interiors are worthy of the most glossy interior magazines, capturing that effortlessly stylish Cotswolds vibe that is totally on trend yet not at all stuffy.

Accommodating 50 guests in 26 beautiful rooms, the venue is available for exclusive use so can entertain your family and friends as Lord and Lady of the Manor for 24 hours. You’ll have complete flexibility on everything, from where you say your I do’s, to where to host your evening reception (and the after party – the bar is one of my favourite spaces! And with hidden rooms away from the dancing, there’s plenty of space for Granny and the younger children to escape the noise and enjoy a chat or play games. Exclusive use weddings at Lords of the Manor start from £12,500, or get in touch to find out more about intimate wedding packages. We love this venue, and one thing’s for sure, we’ll be back soon to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and stunning locations again soon!
Catharine adores the Cotswolds for it’s charm, picturesque gardens and characterful properties. She tries to visit every year and couldn’t resist creating a vision for a wedding here with our latest moodboard! It’s refined, romantic, with a palette of pastels with a muted edge, oh and it’s floral filled – of course!
