inspiration board #20: dare to be different {guest post}

Morning all, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Can you believe it’s August already?  Seriously, I’m hoping that Summer is finally going to arrive this month!  I spent this weekend working on a special project that I can’t wait to share with you!  Things are still pretty hectic for me, so I’ve got some more fabulous bloggers guest posting for you this week!

Today we’re welcoming the lovely Emma from Aphrodite’s Wedding Blog.  Emma is as wedding obesessed as me, and I love the ideas and inspiration she posts!  Don’t forget to leave her some love in the comments section below.  Over to you Emma…

Hello lovely Bijoux Bride readers! My name’s Emma and I run Aphrodite’s Wedding Blog. I am really chuffed to have the opportunity to share some lovely wedding inspiration with you all while Louise takes a break, so I hope that that my post today gives you some inspirational food for thought for your own bijoux wedding!

Subtle hues are all the rage in weddings at the moment. From dusky antique pinks to pearly sage greens you can create a beautiful, romantic and feminine touch for your big day. But if you are looking for something a little bit different I would definitely encourage you not to shy away from bursts of colour. Dare to be different! Clashing colours, complementary colours, rainbow colours can all provide colour schemes with the wow factor.

And to help you think about some of the colour burst options out there, here are some bright and beautiful inspiration boards to get you started:

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
