inspiration board #44: rustic luxe

Morning lovely brides! Have you all had a wonderful weekend filled with wedding plans and romance? Yesterday was the last day for entries to the b.loved giveaway, my fingers are crossed for all of you who entered! The winners will be selected this week, so keep an eye out here and on Facebook for the announcement!
I’m really excited about today’s inspiration! I’ve long been a fan of succulents used as part of your wedding decor, and we often see them used alongside moss and timber details to create a rustic look. I think succulents are underrated, and would love to see them pop up in more glamorous schemes too! The soft, silvery texture, and strong architectural shapes make succulents the perfect pairing with silver and sparkly touches. Team them with soft buttery roses, tulips and peonies for a fresh and modern spring bouquet, and display in low level pewter and mercury glass containers as centrepieces scattered across tables. Use as accents throughout the day, from the grooms boutonnière, to a simple place setting tied with ribbon or string and accessorise with subtle touches of sparkle for an understated and elegant look.
