inspiration board #5: urban {yellow & grey}

Here’s a little inspiration to cheer up your Monday morning!  I’ve had the idea for this board in my head for quite a while now, and it feels so good to get it on paper (well, on screen) and share it with you!

I love clean and simple, contemporary style.  I love the city, the contrasts of rough and smooth, the skylines, the movement and buzz.  I love the idea of a rooftop city wedding, with all of this going on below while you celebrate your marriage in cool, calm and collected urban style.

Yellow and grey is such a modern combination, and compliments a city venue perfectly.  It’s also one of my favourite trends in wedding schemes, and provided a lot of inspiration for my own wedding earlier this year!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
